This Privacy Policy explains how Munch collects, uses, and shares information when you browse, order, or cook on the platform.
Information we collect
We collect account details (name, email), delivery addresses, order history, cook kitchen information, payment metadata from Stripe (we do not store full card numbers), and usage data such as pages visited. Address autocomplete may query third-party geocoding services.
How we use information
We use data to operate the marketplace, process orders, show nearby kitchens, manage subscriptions and payouts, prevent fraud, improve the product, and comply with law.
Stripe and Connect
Payments and cook payouts are handled by Stripe. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment information you provide to Stripe directly. Cooks onboard through Stripe Connect Express.
Sharing
We share order details with the cook fulfilling your order. We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, analytics) that process data on our behalf. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and security
We retain information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. We use industry-standard safeguards, including signed session cookies and HTTPS in production.
Your choices
You may update delivery details in your account settings. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or payment processors.
Children
Munch is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Updates
We may revise this policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version.
